This up-and-coming destination has been on my list for years. It's a small island, easily discoverable in a week (though of course staying longer is never a bad idea!). It's reminiscent of Greece, but with an African flair. English is spoken widely, it's got great public transport, and it's not on many peoples' radars. Yet. That's changing - Malta is what Croatia was a few years ago. Beyond all that, Malta offers beaches, great snorkeling (and diving!), impressive history and architecture, and of course, food.
I've designed the itinerary to give us the highlights with plenty of freedom. This is a moderately-paced trip; we'll move around a bit, but you'll have downtime each day to relax or explore on your own, plus two completely free days. And of course, I'll be traveling with you so you'll only be on your own if you want to be!
